Day 1: CHANDIGARH-SHIMLA (90 KM/3 HRS)
Arrive at Chandigarh airport/railway station this morning, and start driving towards Shimla. The whole day will be for driving towards Shimla. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, rest of the evening is at leisure, dinner & night stay at the hotel in Shimla.
Day 2: SHIMLA-SANGLA (220 KM/8 HRS)
Board your vehicle and start driving to Sangla. It will take around 7-8 hours to reach Sangla. There are plenty of places where you will halt and enjoy sightseeing while getting transferred to your hotel. You will visit Kufri, Theog and Narkanda. You will have your lunch on the way and you will reach your hotel in the evening. After check-in, dinner will be served. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: SANGLA-LOCAL EXCURSION
Wake up early in the morning and leave for a visit to Chitkul (the last village before the Indo-China border along the Baspa River). You can also plan your lunch at "Akhiri Dhaba" in Chitkul. Later you will visit Rakchham, Kamru Fort & Batseri village. The rest of the evening is at leisure, have dinner around a bonfire.
Day 4: SANGLA-NAKO (120 KM/4 HRS
Check out from the hotel and start driving towards Nako, Enroute you may stop at Pooh and Pangi villages. Arrive at Nako in the evening, the rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 5: NAKO-KAZA (120 KM/5 HRS)
Have an early breakfast today morning, and start driving towards Tabo. The main attraction of the day will be the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old, and was discovered here while building the road. Later on, reach Tabo and check in to your hotel. In the evening visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Today we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from the rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters). Later you will visit Dhankar Lake & Monastery. Dinner & night stay at hotel in Kaza.
Day 6: KAZA-LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Leave for sightseeing of Komic and Hikkim villages, India’s highest post office is situated in Hikkim, from here you can send letters or postcards to your loved ones to retain the memories. Later you will visit Langza village and the Langza Buddha statue. Arrive at your hotel in Kaza in the evening.
Day 7: KAZA-PIN VALLEY EXCURSION
Whole day is for the visit to local sites in and nearby Kaza. First, you will drive towards Mudh village, located in Pin valley national park, you will also visit Kungri monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery in Spiti valley) on the way. Later, on the way to Kaza, you will visit Key village and monastery, Kibber village, and Chicham bridge. After this sightseeing, you will get back to Kaza and stroll around the local market in the evening. Dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 8: KAZA-KALPA (220 KM / 8 HRS)
Whole day will be for a drive towards Kalpa, arrive Kalpa late in the evening, dinner & night stay at hotel.
Day 9: KALPA-SARAHAN (90 KM /3 HRS)
Wake up early in the morning and visit sunrise point near Kalpa. Later visit Barlengi Gompa, Chnadika Devi temple, Roghi Dhank & Sapni fort. Later you may also visit Reckong Peo market. After the sightseeing starts driving towards Sarahan. Upon arrival in Sarahan visit Bhima Kali temple in the evening. Check into your hotel in the evening.
Day 10: SARAHAN-SHIMLA (160 KM /5 HRS)
After checking out from the hotel start driving towards Shimla. Upon arrival, you will visit Sankat Mochan Temple. Later in the evening visit Mall Road, scandal point, and Gaiety theatre. The rest of the evening is at leisure to roam around on your own. Dinner & night stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 11: SHIMLA-CHANDIGARH (90 KM /3 HRS)
Check out from the hotel early in the morning and drop you to Chandigarh for your onward journey.
